| Job Description | The Pima County Attorney’s Office is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Criminal Division Misdemeanor Unit as an Attorney Bureau Chief. The Attorney Bureau Chief supervises, assists, and leads attorneys and support staff in the Office of the Pima County Attorney. This position also carries out the unique responsibility of mentoring, training, and coordinating the newest attorneys in the office. In this role, you will oversee functions within the respective criminal bureau, analyzes workloads, case flow, court schedules, complex legal issues, and develops plans, schedules, assignments, and solutions, in addition to evaluating attorney and staff performance. Work is performed with considerable latitude, independent judgment, and professional discretion. This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Juris Doctorate AND ten (10) years of previous experience practicing law in criminal, civil, or administrative proceedings. OR: One year with Pima County in an Attorney Supervisor position. |
