Job Description | The Pima County Attorney’s Office is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Criminal Division as an Attorney Bureau Chief. The Attorney Bureau Chief supervises, assists, and leads attorneys and support staff in the Office of the Pima County Attorney. The position oversees functions within their respective criminal bureau, analyzes workloads, case flow, court schedules, complex legal issues, and develops plans, schedules, assignments and solutions, in addition to evaluating attorney and staff performance. Work is performed with considerable latitude, independent judgment and professional discretion. This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules. |
Minimum Qualifications | Juris Doctorate AND ten (10) years of previous experience practicing law in criminal, civil, or administrative proceedings. OR: One year with Pima County in an Attorney Supervisor position. Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the "Education" and "Work Experience" sections of the application.
